Axle Connect — Terms of Service

Draft. These terms are under review by Axle Foundation and may change before the connector is listed publicly.

Effective 2026-09-10. These terms cover the Axle connector for AI assistants (“the connector”), operated by Axle Foundation LLC. Your use of Axle itself is covered by your company’s agreement with Axle.

Who can use it

You need an active Axle identity — either a partner community login, or a personal Work PIN with a seat on a workforce. The connector is for the person the identity belongs to. Do not connect it with someone else’s login, PIN or phone, and do not share a connection: it acts as whoever it was connected as, and everything it does is recorded under that name.

What it does, and what it will not do

Your assistant is your own

You connect Axle to an assistant account you already have. That account is yours, billed by whoever provides it, and governed by their terms — Axle does not supply it and cannot see your conversations. What you type into an assistant, and what it shows you, is between you and that provider.

Accuracy, and what you still have to do

Answers come from Axle records at the moment you ask. Records can be out of date, and an assistant can misread an answer or make one up. Check anything that matters before you act on it — particularly safety certifications, dangerous-goods information and anything a decision on site depends on. The connector is a faster way to reach your records; it is not a substitute for your own judgement, your company’s procedures, or the law.

Ending a connection

Ending a connection stops the connector. It does not delete work you did through it — a ticket you dispatched or hours you logged stay in Axle, as they would if you had entered them in the app.

What we do not promise

The connector is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that every answer will be complete, or that it will suit a particular purpose. It depends on Axle, on your assistant provider, and on a network — any of which can be down. To the extent the law allows, Axle Foundation LLC is not liable for loss arising from your use of the connector, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above changes when we do, and material changes will be noted here. Continuing to use the connector after a change means you accept it.
